Hi i have had a new 30 litre tank for over a week now and the fish look fine, however all i have is a central piece very tall in the middle like a cave and one big plant in the corner. Is this enough or do i need more ornaments for the fish to feel safe? Thanks

This tank is too small for mollies and neon tetras. Mollies need a 30 gallon tank along with neon tetras, however neon tetras need softer water with low pH and they need a group of 6 or more otherwise they will be stressed. Mollies need water hardness of 250ppm and more (14dGH) with pH above 7.0.
What is your pH, GH and KH? This can be found on your local water providers page. I see that your tank is newly set up with already fish in due to the bubbles.. Do you know anything about the Nitrogen Cycle? And just my tip, try using live plants for more benefits.

You need a picture on the back to help the fish feel more secure.
You need floating plants like Water Sprite (Ceratopteris thalictroides/ cornuta) to reduce the light reflecting off the white sand.

I would add some Ambulia, Hygrophila polysperma and narrow Vallis plants along the back of the tank and leave the front open.

Depending on the pH and GH, which Salty asked about, you could either go for a group of 10 neons and some pygmy Corydoras if you have soft water with a GH below 150ppm. Or the platies if you have hard water with a GH around 200ppm.

Mollies really need a bigger tank and a GH of 250ppm+.

I agree with everything that has been said.

There are to many thing wrong with that stocking list.
