Aquarium Moonlights

Hey all. I was thinking about buying some sort of Aquarium moonlight to give that extra effect, But have some question regrading it. If i was to buy one,
1) Whats the installation like? Would i have to do DIY magic or are they simply ones which would clip on with some sticky stuff? (eg quick)
2) If i was to buy one, would would you recommend on a 120l? (watts)
3) Are they just for the entertainment reason for the human? Do fish/plants get any befits form the moonlight glow?

Any feedback very welcome, The tank i may be adding it too is for tropical not marine

Seen this? I did it to my tank tonight, in a simpler way, cost me £5 and took about 10 minutes

I got a blue moonlight with 2 led lights. I just used sticky tape and taped it in my hood. it is neat to look at and helps get night spawning fish and corals in the mood.

Be careful with that - sticky tape won't last long in hot humid conditions
