I have a 10 gallon (still cycling) a 20 gallon, and soon a 30 gallon. For my 10 gallon I have a dual fixture producing 10 watts each so 2wpg..the Kelvin is like 5000 or something of the sort.... Aaaaaannnyways i can't find lights anywhere for my 20 gallon. My 20 gallon was a starter kit from aqueon so I'm still using the 19 watt bulb it came with....it's too dark looking plus I want to be able to grow a wider variety of plants. Is there any SPECIFIC lights made for a 20 gallon? Plus I don't want to buy a new hood so yeah...please ne specific or provide a link a really need new lights...

There won't necessarily be specific lights for the volume of water in a tank, rather based on the width so you can actually fit the unit onto your tank. I just think you need to do your own research based on your tank and requirements.

All I will say is that you need somewhere between 20 and 40 watts of light, maybe more if you want really high levels but you'll,need CO2 ferts etc.

1W per gallon is considered low light, 2W per gallon is medium/higher and 3W per gallon is really high.

Just to give some idea of what im currently running:

40 gallon with 2 x 14w cool white lighting + once a week i add 20ml ferts

Plant grow so so well
