Aquarium Lighting Advice

Hi, i'm deciding to get a T5 fixture but I have a question about it when i was browsing ebay...

there are some fixtures that contain 6 bulbs while there are some that have 2 bulbs...I'm wondering what I would need for my aquarium..i would assume that a two bulb is enough for a 55 gallon aquarium. but I"m not sure it is kind of new waters that i'm trending in at the moment with lighting and stuff.

Also there are different colors for the T5 bulbs...one had 2 pink bulbs in it and I'm guessing two white bulbs...maybe I'm reading the descriptions wrong..

but this guy charges shipping...and it is about 35.95 for shipping so it is a bit expensive...or i can go with this one:
