do the orniments have to be made of a certian thing to be able to put in the tank as i am looking for fairies to go in my tank and i cant find any anywhere i collect faries and as it is my tank i thought that me and my 2 daughters could make it special for us girls as i have another tank and it is full of spongebob for my hubby and my sons lol please help if anyone can find any let me know

afaik, the ornament has to be made of polyresin or ceramic. to be on the safe side, only buy ornaments that say for aquarium use on the tag.

edit: i found a uk-based website that sells fairy kits for aquariums.

Look on ebay i found some on there last night when i was looking for other things.

The other option, (but takes a lot more work), would be to take your chosen fairy, and then cover it in a clear aquarium safe sealent, (a clear varnish of some sort, but MUST be aquatic safe, NOT Yacht varnish for example!)
It's easier if you can buy something you like made from the right material to start with though as per above
