I have been looking around at some of the local aquarium shops near me and have always gone into Aquarium Adventure (Columbus) usually just because it is such a neat place! I bought a couple guppies from there a long time ago and they thrived happily for a long time. I am just curious if anyone else has any experiences or advice from dealing with this shop? I am trying to stay away from local petlands and petcos cause the ones nearby never had good reviews from their fish stock. Comments and reviews please!! Thanksss

I love this store! I go to the one in Columbus all the time. The staff is quite knowledgable, I have never felt like they just tell me stuff just so I will by something, and I could spend hours in there just looking!

In fact, when I started trying to fix a major issue in my saltwater tank and was on this forum and others researching, I went in there to ask a bunch of questions and get my water tested and fully expected to spend about 200 dollars on new equipment. I even asked the guy point blank what I needed to buy today. He said I didn't need to buy anything right now that what I have would work just in a different working configuration. I love that! They care more about the health of the fish and customer than making money. At least it seemed that way to me.

Its the only store I go to.

In fact, try to go there when the tall lady with long blond hair is working if you want to ask anything about freshwater, she knows her stuff!

IF its saltwater you want to know about, ask for Robby, he's great!
