Aquaessentials Hot5 Realux Lights

hi i wanted to upgrade the lighting in planted tank

it says that the lights can be attached with clips onto the hood
has anyone ever used these if so do they have any pics to show me how the lights fit onto the hood.

also which is better for planted aquariums the daylight tube or the spectrum grow tube.

Either should be ok for plants, get one of each if you're getting two. However these are expensive for lighting, 33quid each time you want to change the bulbs?! Why not get a twin T5 electronic ballast and get some Arcadia plant pros or some Giesemann T5 tubes, midday or aquaflora would do

The clips screw into the hood and the light's ballast clips in very tightly and they do look the business.

Richard at AE assures me that he has had some in his tank for over 2 years and still going strong with no noticeable loss of light quality as yet.
