Aqua One, Is Filter Any Good ?

been to our lfs today and had a look at buying another new tank, well theres 2 we are interested in the are the aquamode 900 and the aquastyle ar850, but was wondering is the trickle filters in these any good as ive always used internal filters, but these have them built into the hood,
So was just wondering have you got one or had one and are they any good ?

I don't know about those tanks but I've just bought a small 21L with a filter like that and I personally love the design. I love the way you can get to it without going into the water but it's still internal. It seems to clear the water very quickly too.

I have the 850 tank and it's great. Filter is fine; I prefer it that way . I have it with messy fish and it kesps up with demand

Don't know about how well they filter, but one disadvantage I've found with filters built into the hood is that they restrict light at the back of the tank, just where you'd want to put plants! Obv. if you're going fake, wouldn't matter

I have an aqua 620t and i never thought the trickle filter was that effective. I've since ditched that,-put lights in the area where the filter goes and i now have a fluval +3 internal doing the filtering.

Hi, I have an aqua one and my water seems hazy, have you had this and do you know what causes it , cheers, Nev.
