I'm about to replace my Juwel Rio 125 with the Aqua One Eurostyle 80 as it's width is near identical so it'll fit perfectly where the Rio sat. It's 6cm deeper, no internal filter and 14cm higher the the Rio (180 litres vs 125).

I can't seem to find any reviews or anything across the t'interweb?? Anyone got one?

Next question, my tank has a lot of wood in it, think of it as a coral tank but with wood. Do you reckon sand (Argos) with standard wood would look odd and I should stick with my current natural gravel?

I have one of these, picked it up a few weeks ago, and have nearly finished a fishless cycle.

It is a really nice tank, but is quite tall - this is great if you want to keep fish like angels, but does make it harder to reach over the side to mess around with things at substrate level. Or it does if you have short arms like me. I have used playsand substrate and I think it looks great - up to you if you prefer gravel, and depends of course on what you want to keep in it.

If you do go for this one, you might want to look at upgrading the standard filter - it is described by AquaOne as suitable for 110 - 200 litres (if I remember rightly), and this tank is at the upper end of that range. I upgraded to the next one up, the Advance 1050 which is rated for up to 300 litres, and the media baskets are pretty good, so you should be able to stuff all your existing mature media in there if that is what you are intending to do. Of course you might also look at other external filters by other manufacturers - there are lots of threads on the hardware section of this forum.

One other tip, that might be specific to my LFS - make sure the cupboard is correctly assembled! Mine came delivered with the gap on the cupboard backing at the bottom instead of the top, so the filter hoses had to be severely kinked to feed down out the gap and back up to the top of the tank. Of course I didn't notice until the tank was filled, when it was too late to do anything about it - filter is now sitting on the floor behind the cupboard...

Hope that is some kind of help, have fun with your shopping.

Cool thanks, any pics with sand? Also I assume they have lids? No pics online!

I already have an external filter, always like to double up! Not getting cupboard either so that's solved!

Is 180l big enough for angels?

I am 99.9% certain you will get a lid with the tank I have not seen a Eurostyle before but all the other Aqua One tanks I have seen come with lids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnHpK2Bp7EU. Although that is a corner version I doubt the standard shaped tank would be much different. Finding reviews for fishtanks is a nightmare though.

Yes it did come with a lid, although it isn't the sturdiest in the world, it can resist at least the full weight of one large tabby cat.

I am probably going to get some fish tomorrow as my cycle is done, so I'll take some photos and see if I can figure out how to post them...

Not sure on the angels point, that is something I am also seeking advice on from more experienced members here.

that is a really lovely looking tank will be nice to see some actual pictures of it :)
