I have in one of my tanks an Aqua One 300w Heater, yesterday I noticed the water temp had dropped but the heater light was on so I thought it was heating up again.
I later looked and the temp had dropped more plus the heater still had it's light on, I had a spare much smaller heater that I put in to be on the safe side, after a while the water did heat up.
I realised I am overworking the small heater but it appears the 300w has a fault, the light is on all the time but it isn't working.
I'm off in a while to buy another heater but I just wondered if anybody else has had this problem with Aqua One, unfortunately I have not got the receipt to exchange it so I will have to buy a new one.
The thing is when something like this happens it puts you off getting that make again.
