Aqua Internal 200 Filter Question

I bought one if these from maidenhead as my powerhead broke.
Does anyone use these? I have mine tilted so the spray bar is completely in (the tanks in my room so it's just to make it quieter) will that effect it in anyway? I haven't completely submerged it as I don't think you can but if it is safe ok then I probably will.

Hi Rob, I have 2 of those, I use them in my 20 Liter tanks, mine came with carbon filter sponge which I replaced with ordinary sponge, so far they have been OK. As for the spray bar being submerged it should do the same job except it won't cause a ripple on the surface but should be fine.
I think you can submerge it the Aqua flow 100 is submersible, so this should be.

The whole filter unit is submersible If you put the whole thing right under the water then twist the spraybar so it angles upwards slightly, it will ripple the surface of the water with no noise!
