Hi people. Has anybody ever placed some Fluval biomax in the hole inside the sponge (where the Carbon originaly sits)? I was thinking of taking some out of my Fluval U2 and trying it. I reckon that 4-5 peices would fit in without packing it tightly. I thought that it might aid filtration in the little fella and make it a dual method filter. Any ideas?

It is in a 60l shrimp only tank so that should keep them happy (plus it means I can remove my Fluval U2 which has been seeding the aqua flow)
