Aqua Clear Filter

HI,

I HAVE A QUESTION, I HAVE A 10 GALLON HEX TANK, WITH A 20 GALLON AQUA CLEAR FILTER ON IT.....
SO MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED TO RUN THIS FILTER A FULL BLAST ALL THE TIME, OR SHOULD I BE RUNNING IT AT A LOWER SPEED SO THAT THE FISH ARE PUSHED AROUND BY THE FILTERED WATER POURING INTO THE TANK?
AND ALSO IS THAT HARMFUL IN ANY WAY TO THE FISH IF THEY ARE BEING PUSHED AROUND BY THE FILTERED WATERED COMING BACK INTO THE TANK?

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.....

If the fish have somewhere to go and rest from the current then they should be fine. Its a hard call to make over the internet and something like this may just come down to your own intuition.

I see perhaps you are new to the forum and to the beginner section here. What method of cycling did you choose for your filter? What type of test kit are you using for your water chemistry?
