Hi there everyone, I've been out of fishkeeping for a few years and just starting to get back into it, has anyone got any views/information on the AQUA AR980 tank it has the fiter system built into the top. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi, I am the resident AquaOne nutter

I have the 850 (155ltr) and 380 (34ltr).

I wanted the tank you are contemplating but there was a weight issue with me having it upstairs in a timber framed house

I am bias but for what its worth I think the tanks and cabinets are not just a great home for fish but a great piece of furniture for your home

The filter system lets you tweak and do maintinance without disturbing the fish. Also there are no air-lock or priming problems that you sometimes get with external filters.

The filters allow for a massive media surface area and tremendous aireation

I vote 'go for it'
