Apple Snails

Hi everyone,

I have noticed in two of my aquariums that my apple snails,float on the surface, sometimes for hours on end.This alarmed me at first,but then I noticed that they sink back down and carry on as normal.

Any idea's as to why they do this ?

Hi. It' normal behaviour, they "play" and also float and eat sometimes

Totally normal, mine love bobbing up and down under the current of the spray bar, I think they like to play dead some times to scare us.

mine are really brats, they float, try to get into my filters, removing my filter guards, pushing ornaments over.
gotta love them though. apple and mystery snails are the clowns of the snail world.
