Hello I have 3 snails 2 Golden Mystery Snails and 1 apple Snail
the apple Snail was very Small when we got him about the size of a dime and now is about a looney and a half big (less then a months growing time )
any ways He was floating on the top of the tank today so I moved him into a resting tank for about 48 hrs.
While moving him I noticed that about .5 of an inch of his shell is clear (yellow clear) and the end of it is soft.
When he withdrawls into his shell he goes in past the clear part but should I be worried about this? Should I add something to the water for him???
I do have a Moon Snail Shell in the tank (its been boiled ) for calcium and the LFS said this was a good thing to do...... YES i know they LIE cheat and STEAL oh well
I really like this little guy and dont want him to die please help
