That temp is low. Guppys do best in the 72-82F range, with 77F being the median...the low temp could be causing the lethargy in the snail, as well...I'd raise the temp

72? Really? That low?... I don't know if that could be causing the lethargic-like symptoms but it is a possibility.
I suppose that could definitely be a factor then!
Raise the temp to around 77°F and feed him! I'm pretty sure he'll perk up after a bit

Snails are scavengers, in a well established tank, special foods aren't required for them
