are appel snails ok for a three foot tank

apple snails ? there ok if you dont have real plants or you put cucumber in every day like I do and they never touch my plants although I only have 3 a golden and 2 pinks

Yes, the minimum limit is 10 liters per one apple snail. They need cucumber and other veggies for food though because they usually don't eat fish foods, and eat live plants if they don't get any other food. And they need some chalk every now and then so they can keep their shell hard enough, especially if kept in soft water.

They grow to be quite big, but are lovely fellas! I have for in my smaller tank (45 liters) one pink, one lilac and two light blue ones. <3

by chalk he means calcium so chuck a bit of tums (antacid tablets) in now and again

She. Wasn't sure what that word was in english, but that's what I meant. Small parts of white weekend food is also good for that, or using sepia scales.

Advise against cucumber is mostly water and serves them little nutrition. At the very least algae wafers off ebay and a tum every now and again will keep them right. If you want super snails you bake for them like i used to
