aponogeton ulvaceus

Hi, Am I right in saying aponogeton ulvaceus sometimes needs a rest and can be used again ? mine is starting to look a little tired and has been eaten a bit. I was wonderig what's the best way of going about it. Thanks.

It will get smaller. The roots will wither away, which then make it easy to remove from the tank. You can then place it into the refridgerator for 3 months and then place it back in your tank and it might start to grow again.
I think Aponogeton ulvaceus is a beautiful plant. Mine got fungus while in the fridge. I have not gotten any since because of the rest period.
