I received this plant today but the young leaves on it are solid not lace like.

Have I been sent the wrong plant? Or do the leaves take their lace appearance as they get older?

I have one of these in my tank, the leaves when small (less than 2") don't really have the holes, although once they are bigger than this the holes are obvious.

Thanks Shrimper. Do you know if they like or dislike flow? I have planted it close to my filter outlet.

Not sure to be honest, mine is on the other side of the tank from the internal filter and seems to be growing ok

How big is your tank, jsut out of curiousity. I have seen a ful grown lace plant laid out on a cement floor, and it looked like a darn giant squid.

Also, be careful with temps 82 and above IMO. I have seen related species melt before my eyes, in my Florida-based tank. When my temps were fluctuating between 79 and 82+ degrees.

Dimensions of Tank: 100W x 40D x 70H cm and temps dont go past 77.
