Apollo has been going through random bouts of fin clamping and what looks to be constipation, but usually not at the same time.

I have tried feeding him peas, and it doesn't help. Fasting also doesn't do much good. What causes fin clamping? It is his tail he is clamping.

What color is the fish's poo? If its white and/or stringy its most likely a internal bacterial infection, what have you been feeding the fish recently and how much and how often?

Well, his staple food is just a flake of tropical fis food twice a day, shared with Ember, but they get each of the following once a week in place of the flakes, frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, peas. All of which are fed in small ammounts. His poo looks normal, it is green when he has peas and brown any time else.

Are you thawing the frozen foods out properly? What are your recent ammonia, nitrate and nitrite stats? What temp is the tank set at?

I thaw a few peas out in a cup with some tank water. Then I pop them in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, then squeeze the 'guts' out onto a plate, cut them up and pop them in. My water params are normal, and the temp is 78.
