Do you have a pair or a harem? I don't think you could add another apisto to thet 10 gallon, but you might be able to get more luck if there was another one.

just a pair you need 15g for a trio but they only have 10g so just the pair.

You might have better luck with another female... But you don't have the space.

well there a breeding pair but they just need to learn to look after the fry better so i wouldnt thnk another female would make to much diffrence
