blackwater is great CSnyder, since adding it to my tank all my fish seem happier. My male curviceps is far more relaxed and much less shy, my female angel comes into the centre of the tank far more often and a female cory with a cut that was struggling to heal has now started ti heal up and grow new 'skin' underneath (or at least that's what it looks like)
I'd recommend trying it if you like that kind of thing. As Nick says - your only a water change away from removing it if you don't like it
