Api Root Tabs

Hi, I have just bought API ROOT TABS. But I'm a bit confused to how may I need to put in the tank.

These are the directions word for word on the box:

Add 1 tablet for each 30 square inches (194 sq cm) of gravel surface. Push midway into gravel bed. (a standard 10 gallon (38L) aquarium requires 6 tablets.) Add new tablets monthly for optimum plant growth.

So my tank is 100cm x 40cm for the suface area. It's a 42 uk gal tank.
most of my plants are fine but the swords and other large leaved plants are'nt so healthy. should I just put a tab under each plant. There is only four plants which i'm concerned about.

Hi there.
I would put a couple of tabs under each plant.They are slow release so they shouldn't burn the roots or stunt the plants' growth.
