Api 5 In 1 Aquarium Test Strips

hi there recently upgraded my 36 litre fish tank to 75 litre last week
at the moment in the tank a have 5 baby tetras 4 platies and 4 mollys today i took a test with a api test strips and the nitrate part of the test read 80 parts a million is this correect and if not what should i do about it and is my stocking level ok

I've never used api test strips so can't comment,although i know the tetra ones aren't reliable,but 80 ppm nitrate is very high,whats the tap water showing for nitrates?

between 20 and 40 nitrate
the api test strips arent tha easy to read what should the levels be

If you are only 40 ppm above what your tap water is, you should be ok. You just need a waterchange.
