My blue acara is having trouble staying upright. He still swims around a bit butboccasionally goes upside down before righting himself again. I notice he is tending to swim with his pectoral fins and not using his tail much.

Is there anything I can do for him other than regular water changes and peas? All the other fish are ok. I don't have a hospital tank big enough for him, he's a good six inches.

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue with an oranda right now.  Is it pooping, and if so, is it normal or is it white and stringy?  Personally I searched swim bladder and TwoTankAmin as the author and found that its usually constipation (which the peas and Epsom salts would help), bacterial infection causing inflammation (broad-spectrum antibiotics), or a parasite infection (more often wild-caught fish, with this one you would see stringy white poop and use an internal antiprotozoal such as metronidazole, levamisole, praziquentel, imidazole) and for any treatment medicated food is best since its an internal problem.

I would wait for someone else to respond though, this is my second swim bladder problem in the past 2 months and the last didn't survive.  Personally I did try the lower water level with the last one and he did seem to swim better for a little while, but he passed a few hours later.
