Anyone Watch Prehistoric Park?

i don't like cringy tv and i can't watch this. i don't know whether to laugh or cry.

why use WOOD for cages?! seriously! these things weigh TONS. you don't see rhinos being kept it weak wood cages. GAH.

and i want to punch the presenter

Yeah i know what you mean, nigel isn't a bad guy/actor, but sometimes you just want to see him get gobbled up by some prehistoric animal :lol: .

I watched part of one of the recent episodes, that one with where they go back to the carboniferous swamps with the giant bugs and insects? They take back a giant centipede/millipede- there's a big problem with this though, such a critter would not survive in todays atmosphere as bugs/insects only got so large in the carboniferous because oxygen levels were 30% higher back then than what they are today.

Bugs and insects breath through their skin through thousands of tiny pores. Bugs and insects don't get large now days because there isn't enough oxygen in the atmosphere today to allow them to do so, so if an insect or bug got too large, it would require so many pores in its exoskeleton/skin to breath that it would become too fragile and simply fall apart.
