  he is a nice one, they are all nice, its heartbreaking to see them in such a state when they come in.

had one come in and he was grey and not moving and clamped like i had never seen before, had to feed him by hand for a while to make him eat, he turned into an orange and purple boy with red ripples in his fins, totally awesome boy and off to a new home on monday as well.

It makes me angry, not for the cost ive lost in them b/c if i wished i could spawn them and get my money back that way but for the way they must be feeling, I dont loose any of them though, they always pull through.

Lol glad i didnt have to make the decision

Ooooo......looks like Tibby's on the hunt again.

I am always on the hunt! But i really don't have room for more bettas now :( damn it! I saw some cute girlies in an LFS today, first time I have seen any for sale! I wanted some :( but plans for a girlie tank for Loki and pals fell through. They were tiny though, Loki would have bullied tham all!
Bloody krib managed to breed with a baby krib, dirty perv so i now have MORE baby kribs! So that is ALL of my aquatic plans scuppered for some months now (

Well that's serves you right for keeping randy fish :p

I just know you'll break soon Tibby :hey:

LOL! I would totally have taken the second red or the turq BF if I wasn't in Australia. But I might not have because at least somebody is finding good homes for these (onya Daz - we love you!) and I usually save my rescuing for bettas that need it really badly. We have a bit of a pay it forward running in our area - rescue bettas whenever you have the time, money and space to put them back in the land of the living, then swap all the convalescent bettas around because everybody has different taste in them. Like, what some people would call a rather useless 'pet' betta (veiltail or mixed tail with a combination of colours and markings and a total genetic soup) is exactly what I'm constantly on the lookout for. I take mine to the LFS, where Colin has a few other betta rescuers who come in and bring ex rescues.

all gone, thank you very much those who have taken them on :good:
