Its illigal to disturb any of our native amphibians. Best just to leave them be.

NO, it is not! though common sense should be used. and the frogs should be returned to the pool they were taken from for release.

its a common misconception, and one that does no harm, in my view. i would never post that info, were this not a forum for those who, love keeping aquatic critters.
