Largeish singular fish that will fit in a 29 gallon with....

6 cherry barbs,
6 neon tetras,
2 ottos,
2 or 3 sterbai corys?

Thanks, orange shark

A pearl/lace gourami would be better than a dwarf... I'm bias though since I love them. You could also look into a flying fox or a syno (check out the many different types to see which ones would be good).

Whats a syno??

I think a syno is some sort of catfish, not quite sure so dont quote me on that one. Flying fox is a type of shark though:

Edit: Yes syno = catfish :)

Could always get a smallish Pleco? Possible a bristlenose, clown, queen arabesque, golden. Depends on what type you want really, Plecos like to laze around so if you want an active fish look at something else lol.

Flying foxes AKA siamese algae eaters (not to be confused with the semi-aggresive chinese ones) are peaceful algae eaters. Some certain synos are peaceful as well. But if you want a gourami, I love pearls and they are peaceful and curious, wonderful fish.

do you think i could get 2 pearl gouramies in there with my stocking? (its at the top)

Thanks, orange shark

Ye that should be ok. Make sure you have some form of floating plant as they like to hide amongst these.
