Anyone Like Top Gear, Or Am I All Alone?

LOVE IT! Not really into cars but Topgear is really entertaining. :good:

I really like it, but as a bit of a car geek I miss having more details on more cars. It has become a car based comedy programme (which i enjoy), but doesn't perform the same function as it used to. And in more recent years they spend too much time on cars a i can't afford, and not enought time on others. But i guess that comes down to making it more attractive to viewers. Theres always fifth year too though!

They used to show it on the Discovery channel in the US, but it hasn't been on in a long time. I wish they would, because when it was on it was great.

BBC2, 10 ish (in the break of the Comic Relief thingy where the news normally goes, but obviously different channel), Top Gear Of The Pops. Should be interesting...

Thats way past your bed time fishy!
I suggest you do your homework and set the VCR to record it :p

I'm so upset, I'm gonna miss it cos I'll be at work, and b/f doesn't hve a clue how to work the digibox. Booo hoooo!!!!

Thanks Wolf. I had tried to Google it before I asked but nothing useful came up. Curiosity satisfied! :)

Righto children :) Clarkson's column today saayyyss....

'Last week I said there will not be a new series of Top Gear this summer. And everyone seems to think the programme is finished or that I've left.

Well, sorry to disappoint you all, but it isn't and I haven't. Top Gear, providing one of us doesn't go upside down again, will be back in the autumn.'

Etc.

Top Gear is one of the only reasons I don't mind paying my TV license! The cost of the TV license is off set by the fact that Top Gear is so friggin funny :) I just wish they'd do more than 6 episodes a series (ie, 10... not 20 or so like TV shows - Too much of a good thing isn't always good ;))

After the accident, I read somewhere that for everyminute shown on screen, they actully record 220 hourss! (which is probably why its so good). So it takes 1320 (possibly) hours of filming for 1 series

the series is quite short this time as Richard Hammond cant do too much after his accident :good:
comic relief special was a pile of crap :(

Glad you said that. I was to busy watching Fight Club and forgot it was on. Looks like I didn't miss much!
