Anyone know where to find fake succulent plants for an aquarium or how to make plastic ones bought from a store safe for an aquarium?

I just really like succulents. But I know that the paint from the fake ones I find in like… hobby lobby… isn’t meant for an aquarium. And the paint would probably be toxic. So any tips on finding them? The few I’ve found online don’t look great but I’m holding out on hope that I’ve just missed the good ones. Or any coating I could put on the fake plants to make them safer?

Or are there any live aquarium plants that look similar? I doubt it. All the plants I’ve seen so far are very very thin

The thing is with succulents is that they are mainly found growing in desert conditions. Their whole shape, ie lumpy, is due to it being able to store water when it can get some, much like a camel does in its hump. That makes them totally unlikely to be aquarium friendly.
Can't help on fake ones I'm afraid

You could coat fake ones with epoxy resin or aquarium safe silicone? The silicone may dull the color as it’s thicker and not exactly perfectly clear…

resin if its food safe
you can also grow them aquaponically
i propogated a graptoveria leaf on duckweed before

What do people who tackle aquascaping usually use? I’ve seen some people carve rock formations out of Polystyrene, paint it, and use it in their tanks. Is that just aquarium safe paint or so they cover it in a resin?

I believe they use tinted cement

it's something similar to cement i think
normal cement leaches stuff
Yeah there’s a brand that is non toxic, I can’t recall it right now… any video on diy backgrounds should mention it. Most people do coat it in a clear coat or silicone so it doesn’t affect the ph
