I want to get a swell shark (Cephaloscyllium ventriosum) so that I can show it to my little brother but I don't know where to find one :dunno: , an egg pouce whould be perfectly fine infact it would be appreciated but no one online seems to have them and the alaskan LFS dont have them either  :. They are cool little sharks and not on the endangered spicies list and only grow to be 3.9 ft long which means that I can fit it comfortably in a shallow 300 gallon.

Thanks

Also What do I put in my tank as far as inverts to clean up w/o a juvenile shark eating $30 worth of livestock a day? :kana:

well i dont no were to get a swell shark. but for inverts the only thing i can think of is get snails, most sharks wouldnt eat them. U could just buy the biggest crab they have. u could also try buying cheap fish to distract the shark from the inverts. thats all the advice i have hope it
found some sites that might help http://library.thinkquest.org/J0110481/swell.html http://www.sdnhm.org/kids/sharks/shore-to-...-sea/swell.html

At the aquarium where I volunteer we keep a swell shark that was collected off the coast in Caalifornia. It shares tank space with a horn shark and a few starfishes and that's about it.

As for $30 of food a day... not sure about that. We feed the shark a few large pieces of sardine every day or two and it is quite healthy.
