Anyone Heard Of A "mono Angel"?

[mike_nofx]

I seen the other day in an LFS for sale "Mono Angels"

They look kinda like Angels, but they dont have the long hanging fins that normal angels do.

Could they be a cut fish or something? or if not, where can i find info on them?

Thanks

Monos are brackish/marine species that will not survive for long in normal freshwater aquaria. There is a small profile on them here http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=71307

ive got a couple of them in my tank fine in freshwater when younger but as they mature they really do need brackish . i love mine and will be giving them a brackish tank they have real charachter. when i approach the tank they come to the front and check you out also they are soooooo fast they bomb round the tank . i have a piece of bogwood that is almost bridgelike and when they swim under in they go flat onto their sides at brfeakneck speed like a "tabletop"

if you can give them the conditions they will need as they grow i highly reccomend them over normal angels any day much much nicer
