Sadily I've never kepet them my self although I used to keep the classic P. amateas amateas

They are retavily east to keep and the fry are quite hardy, I cant remember doing much with them but that was over 15 years ago.
I'm sure i flock breed the P. amateas amateas, but traping a female first to fry is the best resualt, once u have a groupe you can then you could try flock breeding them.

Like many othere rare livebearers they sensitive to poor water so use water that stood for 24 hours to match the tank temp when doing water changes.
