Anyone Ever Have Paradise Fish And Barbs Together?

trying to find some tank mates for my 6 barbs (3 albino 3 tiger), 1 red-fin shark, 1 bulldog pleco(bought to get another). it is a 30" 37g tank.

If you're talking about paradise gouramis, that's a definite no. Once you put in barbs you've eliminated any long-finned species. I'm no expert, but the gouramis will get really stressed when their feelers get nipped. I would go with various tetras(neons, cardinals, rummy noses), but ones that don't have long fins. I think blood fins, white clouds, and small schooling fish, again those without long fins, are best. There are other species, I just can't think of them, but again I'm not an expert.
