Anyone Else Not 'get' Plakats?

Surely they're just like females you can't keep together? They just really don't do it for me at all!

I find them quite beautiful, I got this betta today who is a HMPK/Rosetail.

At first I didn't like them but they grow on you.

He is pretty, but he has very long anal (?) fins though, they're usually much shorter on plakats aren't they?

yea he has many different lines of parents though, a rosetail mixed with a halfmoon and a plakat is very interesting.

I must admit I'm not especially fond, unless it's a DT plakat, then I find them quite charming XD

I think Plakats are the most beautiful Betta's. I honestly have to really really fall in love with anything else (unless its a pkdt!!) to buy it. Crowns, HM, Deltas, and Super Deltas just dont do it for me honestly. I dont like the way they swim when their tails are not flaring. It looks like the tail is way to heavy for them.


Edit: Dont get me wrong, I love em all. Just prefer certain tails over the others.

I prefer the other tail types myself, then again on occassion have seen some real beauts of plakats though prefer the genepool mixed abit like Star above!
