Anyone Any Idea Why I Can't View Pms?

For some reason I don't have the personal messages section on my account any more. I had two emails to say I had two new messages, I logged on and the message facility wasn't anywhere to be seen. So I went back to the email, clicked the link and a message came up saying

"You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board"


Anyone know why that would be? What have I done wrong?
