Ok. I have a 20 gal long fully established tropical community fish tank. I have 2 platys 2 mollys, a dwarf gourami, and 3 black kuhli loaches. Are there any more fish i could add?

What sort of filter do you have running and what is it's GPH (Gal per hour) capacity?
As it is you are pretty well at capacity IMO, others may disagree.

If I remember correctly Kuhli loaches like to be in larger groups... Someone may have to correct me on that though...... So if you did want to add any more it would be best to be loaches, but as I said, IMO you're dancing around fully stocked so to speak.

its the Whisper i20, and it does the job perfectly! :D I read 3 is a good group, but i may get 1 or 2 more, since thye have sucj low bio loads. Could i possibly fit a small group of neons and a guppy?

The simple rule is 1 inch of fish for every gallon of water. So as long as you don't have 20 inches of fish you can add more. Or if you have an extremely good filter then to can have a little more then that max but not a lot more.

Not really. As others said, you are already close to being fully stocked if you're not already, and neons need to be in groups of at least six, and I wouldn't have less than three guppies, and they breed quite prolifically. While you might be able to squeeze a few in, you wouldn't have enough space for the group sizes they require.

I would personally add more kuhlis.

The 1 inch rule generally doesn't apply/work with small fish. I don't believe your nearly fully stocked at all. Closer to 60% stocked. Another 2 khuli loaches and 6 neon tetras would take you up to about 75%, another 6 Glowlight tetras would take you to about 85%. Whether you have the "room" for them to swim around is another thing. But you shouldn't aim for 100% stocked as there would be no room for error and no room for them to swim! Guppies are a bigger bio load, you could probably get 3 guppies and 2 loaches, but as previously mentioned guppies breed a lot.

Ok. Im not planning to got full stock, it just seems a little empty as i barley see my loaches! lol. I may skip the guppys due to big bio load and just get the neons and 2 more loaches. Plus, I dont really want more fry xD
