I havent yet, usually chop it up into small bits for a treat.

yep me :D :D

i just crumble some into the water, for shrimp and others. and break the rest into bits for the ground feeders, they need to be quick though. The Cray likes to scurry round collecting what it can!

Mine go mad for it, will feed some tonight but not to much.

The fish can't really digest it properly so no. It's not good for them so I don't bother even if it is just once.

It causes bloating in humans so thats why I dont feed it.

Been looking at feeding turkey, you can feed it on large fish, but some sites say raw.

Home made food
In this last category, we have foods which can be administrated fresh or after freezing and defreeze. You have to avoid red meat and too greasy meats. Beast heart, rich in blood and lipids, will only be used for big fish. White meats are preferred: chicken, turkey, ham. From marine, we can use white fish, mollusks, shells, shrimps, which we can buy as tinned. Vegetal foods are needed for herbivorous fish because these aliments are rich in vitamins and minerals. We`ll use salad or spinach which has to be boiled for a few minutes.

The vast majority of fish are not designed to eat warm blooded proteins, it is for this reason that beef heart is not recommended by expert fish keepers for predatory fish. I myself would not feed such foods to my fish, though an occasional, small, feeding is unlikley to cause major problems.

Taken from where, what site/book etc., Wilder? Anyone could of wrote that. Also why should only large fish be fed it?

Dont see any turkeys being nibbled on in the wild lol. Then again, I cant see many fish nipping down the supermarket for Tetra Prima either...

But no, not here, it'd be a waste of good person food lol

Me? Share food? Never! It was hard enough for my hubby to pry the Chrimble dinner away long enough to serve some out for the kids. Next you'll be telling me they want some pigs in blankets. Fat chance! :D
