Anybody Keep Any Of These ?

is there anyone on here that has kept, head and tail light tetra, or silver tip tetra's ??
if so i would like to know a bit about them and your experiences with them, perhaps see some pictures too if you have any
i've looked on the internet but cant find many good pics which justify what they actually look like, and theres not much info either, especially on the head and tail lights, so i thought id ask here

I've kept them both.

The H&TL Tetra is a nice peaceful fish. It likes very clean and rather soft water and to have several other of its kind around. I found just a little aquarium salt in the water helped his fish out.

The silvertip is one of my all time favorite tetras. Of the two I would recommend this one. It's easier to keep. It does like plants and to have bunch of friends. With this fish I like a school of about a dozen. They are peaceful and pretty happy. When healthy the color really flashes at you.

Silver tips are probably my favourite tetra. Easy to keep, really active, hardy & do not bother any tankmates. As you'd imagine, do best in groups.

I love silver tips too; I have a shoal of about two dozen in a well planted four foot, and they are stunning. The males are an almost fluorescent orange, and even the females have a beautiful metallic sheen to them.

They are nippy little devils though; even in those numbers they nipped my angel and I had to separate them (mind you, everything seems to nip my poor angel )

Mine live with black phantom tetras, cories and a few Endlers and they don't cause problems with any of those.

I've never kept H&T light tetras; they always look a bit dull to me
