Just read about this stuff, apparently it neutalizes ammonia/nitates/nitrites Making water safe for fish to live in but because the ammonia is only neutralized for the fish and not destroyed its still in a usable form for the bacteria to feed on.
So you can keep small numbers of fish happily in a half filtered tank while the filtering process is still ongoing. Almost seems to good to be true.
Anyone here used it??
