im looking to add to my 125. im thinking of something red since most of my tank is blue and grey. any suggestion on a lovely bright redish fishes.

this is about as close to red as you will get with Mbuna

Rusty's should work they not really red but can be the closest thing as far as mbuna and will fit in with your haps, there are some nice red peacocks that might be worth looking into also
