Any Sites Selling Second Hand Tanks?

I currently have a 7 gallon tank with two fancy goldfish, i know its small but they are small fish at the moment, it is filtered and well looked after, but when larger they will be moved onto my pond or new tank. I also have a shrimp so i have some experience with fishkeeping.

I was wandering if anybody knew any websites selling second-hand aquariums/tanks as i want to move to a larger tank. Ebay tends to come up with rubbish results...

Sorry to jump on the band wagon here, but in your tanks laying around, do you have anything in the 30g range? Im looking for an upgrade lol

well the 3ft is now being used as a turtle tank my gf has got 2 mississippi map turtles coming for free (as we rehome turtles coldwater fish and tropical i have got a 4 x 1 x 1 but it needs cleaning up ive not had it out the shed for a year or so lol and ive got a few 2ft tanks and a 2.5ft x 1 x 1.3 tank wich i think works out to be around 20g its up to you if you want any of them im sure we could sort something out sarah5098

I know you said ebay brings up poor results but try search for misspelled items on ebay.

I've seen many jewul tanks on ebay sell for cheap because the seller has misspelt 'jewul' as 'jewel'

I generally just type in "fish tank" or "aquarium" and yes, you get a lot of crap, but there are gems to be found too

With e-bay things do come around - you need to keep searching regularly - remember to sort results by distance so you find someone local. The worst part with e-bay is getting out-bid in the last 5 minutes. I eventually found my new tank on gumtree.com which is a local classifieds system and got it for a great price. Of course also look at the classifieds section on this forum
