Any Planned Meets

Are there any planned meets this year, I have been using this forum for a couple of years now and would like to put a face to the posts that I read!!!

Maybe a trip to an Aquarium?........................

There used to be meetups at maidenhead aquatics in peterborough, for people in that area but not many people turned up so that didn't really take off. It's a good idea but in reality most people who say they will go end up not going for whatever reason, so the turnout is poor.

I think that why we should meet and actually do something, we all go to our LFS' pretty much every weekend and so theres nothing exciting about a meet at one....

maybe you could go round LFS's together for a day like you said....there are plenty here!!!
could go in mass and complain about any bad ones then, and admire the lovely!

We could do that but would people want to drive around all day? I think your idea about the aquarium is a good one, if people can travel down to it...

i think a lot of people are a bit skeptical about meets, there was one organised a while back to go to the Blue Planet aquarium in Chester, nearly eveeryone backed out at the last minute, only 2 people hadn't checked the board and realised no one was going and ended up there by themselves.

OK, so no many people are really interested in meets. I cant say I am not disapointed but it s understandable I guess.....
