Do halfmoons look like SDs when they arent flaring or do they look the same as they are whn flaring?

Lol i was bout to say soz that is a halfmoon! Erm i think its a SD as i already have a SD and thye look similar. Ill be taking it back 2moz and getting my new halfmoon 2moz..but just wanted to see if it was a halfmoon,which it aint!

And just to clarify,HMs are look the same when they arent flaring and are?

Eh not sure, I do have some pictures of it flaring ( never caught it full flare though, poor thing choked on a pea. ) But in general, you can usually tell that the fins are bigger, though sometimes there are annoying cases that you can't tell between the difference of SD and HM, at which point it could be a little of both, like one parent was a HM and the other was a SD.

Hmmm ill still take it back as theyve ordered a new one in from ISrael...bound to definetly be a HM this time

You cant really tell just by looking if they arent flaring Try counting the rays thats may help. will he not flare?

Sorry just curious but whats the point on spending more on one or the other if you can't tell the difference?..lol
