I am from the peterborough area, I know of one, poss two other people from the area but am unsure of any clubs/societys that I know of. Maybe we sud set one up!
Great to hear other members are from surrounding areas. I have been casually browsing the internet for any mention of aquarist groups in our area and have had little success which seems a shame! We should put a message out to nearby enthusiasts and keep this forum topic active to see if we can find someone local members. Would be good to set up some kind of informal interest group with some pictures of members' tanks/set-ups alongside journals of our experiences or breeding diaries which might make interesting read!
A great part of the interest group could be to critique LFS and give them ratings with up-to-date special offers/deals that are currently in the area so that all local members could be kept informed if cheap food is being sold locally etc. It may also give some new members a better sense of the number of LFS available in the area with recommendations being placed upon the better stocked! I would be willing to co-host the group dependent upon interest if anyone else would be willing to help
Hi guys, not too far away from you guys, Corby. There is a Corby aquatic society but haven't been myself, work shifts and can't make the meetings. Just thought i'd let you know if you didn't already.
Not really no, the best place in town shut down a couple years back. Shame really. Kettering have a few decent places. It's strange that Corby have the local fish society but no good shops!
