Heya im looking at restocking my 20 gallon tank, im getting new aqaurium plants before i get any rams, but ive been watching them at the LFS and groups of males squabble amongst them selves in the tiny tank theire but only chasing , just curious whether you can keep 2-3 males together in my tank?
Obviously ill have hiding places in the tank, what do you think guys?

I would just go for one male and one female, if these are blue or gold rams I would avoid them though as they are not suited to community tanks. Long term care of these fish means you need to keep them in low ph and high temperatures otherwise they get weak and die after about 12-15 months instead of the 4 or 5 maybe more years they can live for.

Where as Bolivian Rams are much better in most household tanks they are also much more peaceful and calm as well so 2 males in a 20 gallon would probably co exist better than 2 blue or gold rams.
