Any Help ?

I was given a fish about 4 months ago im not 100% sure what kind, i would guess some sort of cichlid based on pictures i have seen (it has fluro dots and a orange fin)

This fish has occasionally jumped up out of the water, but recently about 3 weeks after the last time i changed the water, it has been continuously darting up and down the side of the tank and trying to bite the glass, he is also swimming down into the rocks.

The tempreture is 25 degree's... The only thing i have to test ph is a tube and some drops but according to a colour chart that is perfect.

any help would be appreciated

i have one other fish in the tank who is also Uncharacteristically been hiding alot.

OK, some questions from me

How big is the tank? Did you de-chlor the water? Do you have a proper test kit (Ph, Ammonia, NitrIte and NitrAte)? What is the other fish in the tank and other than the water change have you done anything different recently?

Need more info on water stats like been asked.
Darting.
Bad water quality.
Toxins, to overdose of meds.
Stray voltage in a tank.
To parasites.
Any flicking and rubbing.
Check the body over for excess slime, and also the gills to see if they look pale with excess mucas on them, or red and inflamed.
