I'm moving to Queens in a week and a half, and need...desperately need, to find a good LFS to replace my one back home, which is top notch by the way.

Does anyone know of any good shops?

PS. I won't have access to a car, so if MTA doesn't go there, neither do I.

I don't wander in Queens often, but I've heard of some decent LFS there, maybe another member can point them out.

In Manhatten, there's a big Petco in Union Square and New World Aquarium (http://www.newworldaquarium.com) near midtown. Either of them are top-notch, but they're the ones I can get to easily.

Well if he is moving to Queens, I doubt he'll be in the city getting his fish. By car or by mass transit it is a hellish nightmare. I go to one in Flushing called http://fishtown-usa.com/index2.php. Its alright place. Better than any chainstore. Its on Northern BLVD. Then there is Northern Aquariums also in Flushing and on Northern BLVD but they're a bit pricey. If you find any great places in Queens, please tell. :)
